Emily & Jake are married!!

Emily and Jake booked their engagement session with me back in January when I was home for the weekend in Green Bay, Wisconsin. We hit it off and had a great time together during their engagement session in 5 degree temperatures. Once I delivered their engagement session, they immediately reached out asking if I would be interested in flying back to Wisconsin to photograph their fall wedding. Of course, I said HECK YES! They are one of the sweetest, most genuine couples I have ever met, and I was so excited and honored that they hired me for their wedding.

Their day truly was so beautiful! They were married at the Hay Loft Barn in Watertown, WI. Their wedding was in late October in Wisconsin, so we were all prepared for cooler temperatures, but somehow they lucked out with a 76 degree day! The weekend before was snowing, so it was mother natures wedding gift to Emily & Jake with the gorgeous day they had!!

Emily & Jake included their three pups in their ceremony, and it was so dang sweet! One of the doggos had a flower collar and walked down the aisle with the sweet flower girl, Piper. I love when couples incorporate their dogs into their wedding day - it's so special having your best friend there on your most important day!

Emily and Jake had so many unique touches incorporated into their wedding day! A few of my favorites:

They had a corn hole board for guests to sign instead of a guest book - loved that idea!!
Emily did a first look with her dad and it made me tear up immediately! It was so so sweet - the father/daughter love that Emily and her dad has is so evident and so sweet.
They did a private garter removal in the bridal suite rather than in front of everyone, and I thought it was so fun!
One of their grandma's was out on the dance floor in her wheel chair with the whole wedding party and guests and truly looked so happy! It was one of the sweetest moments that I have seen at a reception!!
